The Potter Fitness Center hosts its Armed Forces Day 5K/10K run on 17 May beginning at 8am. 226-3982 for details.
The American Day committee is looking for volunteers for this year’s event. It takes place on 31 May and 1 June. If you care to help out, please contact Jason Stachowski at 226-7829.
Effective immediately, the BX is open from 9am til 9pm, Mon thru Sat and 9am til 7pm on Sunday.
Beginning 18 May, the commissary will be open on Sunday from 10am til 5pm. Beginning 19 May, the will be closed on Mondays.

The Top 3 meets the thrid Wednesday of each month at 3:30 in the Club Tohoku’s Gray Room.
Focus 5/6 meets the second Friday of the month at 11:30am in the Club Tohoku’s Faultline.
The First Four meet on the fourth Thursday of the month at 3:30pm in the Club Tohoku’s Faultline.
The Air Force Sgts Assn meets the last Wednesday of the month at 11:30 in the Club Tohoku’s Aomori Lounge.
The Walmsley Bowling Center hosts youth birthday parties. They supply the party favors, food, drinks, bowling, shoes and a coupon for each child to come back and bowl again. They set up and clean up. Call them at 222-7731 for details.
The Extensive Gamers Organization host Gaming Day from 4pm until???? on the first Saturday of each month in the Community Center.
Misawa Toastmasters meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month in building 1000 at 5:30pm.

You can call from off-base to on-base without using the operator. When calling from within the Misawa area (0176 area code) and you are calling a 222-XXXX number, just dial 63 then the last 4 digits. For 226 numbers, dial 64 and then the last 4 digits of the number. If calling from outside the Misawa area, dial the 0176 area code and then 63 or 64 and the last 4 digits of the number.
